Hello!

This is a well overdue welcome message to all you lovely people who still bother to look me up, even though I can be a bit slow off the mark sometimes. Apologies. I have spent the last three and a half years almost constantly in the theatre, and am at last having a well deserved break from what can be an eight shows a week back-breaking schedule. My time off happens to have tied-in with my husband getting a long job (Magaldi in Evita) and the summer holidays, which is nice.

Time now to reflect and ponder on what I shall be doing next. Of course my love for the theatre is immense and I would never want to give it up, but for the time being SAT needs a bit of time out and weekends with the kids - god help me!

Having said that, I have just filmed an episode of Doctors with Kevin Kennedy, to be aired mid-December and am about to have a terminal form of bowel cancer on Holby City. No tap dancing in that one! I'll let you know the transmission dates.

Thanks to everyone who came to support me in Guys and Dolls. It was such a happy, fun show to work on, and lovely to work with Neil Morrissey again on a very different musical. The cast were fantastic and the energy on stage and off reminded me of my time in Grease - the show and the people could always lift you up however you were feeling.

I'll keep you all posted as to what I'll be doing next (I promise!) and in the meantime can I just say a huge thank-you for all your support and the lovely messages that are left on the site.
